...and not the logic you may be thinking of.
I've learning a new musical instrument for the past several months. Not guitar, bass, or kazoo, but a DAW, or digital audio workstation. For those unfamiliar with this instrument, a DAW is a music recording program. Like brands of a saxophone, oboe, etc., DAWS come in brands called Pro Tools, Abelton, Reason, etc. My brand is Logic 9 (with a possible upgrade to the new Logic X). It's a wonderful piece of software and has been a sweet DAW "instrument" to start with. If you have a Mac, and are a do-it-yourself artist wishing to record music on your own computer (which is very feasible these days, as you can literally learn everything you need on YouTube, the internet, and even good old-fashioned books), I recommend Logic as your recording program of choice. You really can't go wrong on any DAW, but read other reviews on Logic and watch some YouTube videos, and tell me if my words are indeed true.
